INITIAL KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT TEST

Starting from the 2024/25 academic year, the Master Degree Programme in Administrative Sciences will
administer an Initial Knowledge Assessment Test to first-year students.
The test will consist of 15 open-ended questions requiring brief, concise answers.
Two versions of the test will be provided: One for the Taxes, Law, and Economics curriculum and the other
for the Territorial Marketing, Communication, and Tourism curriculum.
The questions will be evenly divided across three scientific areas: Historical-Political Sciences, Legal
Sciences, and Economic-Statistical Sciences.
The questions will be based on the core subject areas of Political Science (L-36).
Each curriculum will include additional subject-specific questions within the relevant scientific areas. For
instance, the Taxes, Law, and Economics curriculum will feature Tax Law questions under the Legal Sciences
area, which will not appear in the other curriculum.
If a student provides predominantly incorrect or insufficient answers in any scientific areas (e.g., fewer than
3 out of 5 correct responses), they will be advised to contact the relevant faculty member for that specific
subject. This will allow students to develop a tailored strategy to maximise their engagement with the
course content.
